INTERNATIONAL SHOW FOR COMPUTER SOLUTION AND COMMUNICATION |

The current increasing demand for equipment and services for information and communication has created a need to get more and more efficient technologies.
Consequently, users above all companies, whether for services or products; research centres, educational and training institutions, laboratories, industries etc, are obliged to secure the appropriate equipment in order to be more competitive. |
As a result, the International Show for Information and Communication (SINEC) in pursuance of its mission and tradition, once again and through its 2009 edition, wants to act as a venue for suppliers and users of equipment, services and solutions that allow to meet the needs of customers.
So the promoters of the show insist on holding meetings with suppliers and customers around two main components, namely:
- one exhibition component for equipment, products and services ;
- another component for the forum, conferences and professional meetings.
EXHIBITION
The exhibition component will include 2 platforms, one of which will be the exhibition of equipment, products and services on offer for potential customers.
The other, named DEMOS Platform is also for suppliers, for open-stand demonstrations for customers and the public.
- The Exhibition Platform : a venue for the exhibition of last-generation technologies, products and services. It will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors of equipment, product and services for the sectors of computer science, office automation and telecommunication, as well as institutions, workers’ associations, training centres, the specialized press and, above all, for suppliers of solutions to meet the needs of the African companies.
9 sqm (3x3) modular stands will be made available for exhibitors: equipped stands by organizers and unequipped stands (for more information see request for participation)
- The DEMOS platform: designed by the organizers to make it possible for exhibitors and people in possession of technologies and innovative solutions to show their products to greater advantage; thanks to the use of a video and overhead projector, exhibitors will be in a position to raise their own profile, making their brand better known before a targeted audience made up mainly of professionals, through demonstrations or presentations.
NB : the requirement to use in this space are detailed in the request form. For organisational reasons, exhibitors who wish to use the facility should contact organizers as soon as possible for more information.
THE FORUM AND MEETINGS COMPONENT
Several themes will be discussed in relation to the forum and /or panels and relating to current events in the sector, with the support and contribution of specialized institutions.
Such themes can bear on, among other things: the digital divide management solutions, networks, telecommunications, the Internet, Intranet, IT applied to education (ITCE) services, etc…………..
PROMOTION
A large scale promotion aimed at ECOWAS Member States and Mauritania, who are the guests of honour of this edition, is planned through an enhancing media coverage with the participation of our media partners and specialised journalists in the area of ITC in Africa.
Consequently, participants (exhibitors) will have at their disposal media aids to allow them to give to their publicity a personal touch to assert themselves in relation to their competitors and to broaden the impact of their messages across the sub region.
PATRONAGE
SINEC 2009 is under the patronage of his Excellency Mr Abdoulaye WADE the President of the Republic of Senegal and will be presided by the Minister for Infrastructures, Land Transports Telecommunication and IT
DATE AND VENUE OF THE EXHIBITION : SINEC 2009 will be held from 21 to 24 April 2009 at CICES, Dakar (Senegal)
OPENING HOURS OF THE EXHIBITION : every day from 10 AM to 6 PM
TRAVEL AND STAY:
Many airliners have regular flights to Dakar. Special tariffs are negotiated with these airliners and the information is sent to all participants (exhibitors and professional visitors) who are registered to take part in this show.
Also, specialized and approved travel agency will propose services to exhibitors with trips and accommodation in selected hotels. Booking will be made based on their choices.
TRANSPORT OF GOODS :
A pooled transport of goods by air or by sea allowing for substantial reduction of charges will be proposed to exhibitors. However, those who wish to choose their own carrier can do so freely.

EXHIBITION COMPONENT : including 2 (two ) types of modular stands :
- Turnkey Modular stand and fittings : including the following : partitions, a carpet, one table, 3 chairs, the stand sign, electrical supply (maximum 1,kw / module), 1 spotlight 1 outlet.

- Unequipped stand : (unfurnished space ) on the exhibitor’s request.
NB : Modules are 9 square meters ( 3x3) - 12 m² (4 x 3) – etc.
